Always celebrate the small winning moments with your family. Don’t ever forget that you were the one that was present for your child, every single day.
You are the only person in this world that understands the true nature of a 24/7 job.
You are your child’s favorite person!
You are the only person that understands your child’s needs.
You are the world to your kid(s).
Focus on all the things you did for your family, it speaks volumes about your love.
After 2 years, we made it happen…
Lana and her family have been my clients since the beginning of my photography business and she has always had a vision to make her extended family session happen.
She scheduled her annual photos every year.
I’m not sure if you’ll understand this feeling, but when I first stepped into their home for her son’s newborn session, I was in awe to see my photos displayed in their home. It was my proud moment and that feeling reminded me why I love being a family photographer.
This past year, Lana reached out to me to book an extended family session because everyone will be in town for a wedding. Talk about perfect timing!

I witnessed a type of family love that cannot be affected by time or distance. They were laughing, bonding, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was a rare opportunity and I knew how important this meant to them.
We were even able to replicate a childhood photo of them standing like a totem pole but an adult version. It was so precious and cute.
We unintentionally also captured a moment with the beautiful golden light. We honestly did not plan this part, but I love how the glow illuminated so nicely on each individual.
